About the Opportunity: Chelsea Piers Field House is seeking skilled Gymnastics Instructors to join our Field House team in Chelsea. Instructors will primarily work recreational classes, school break camps, birthday parties, and special events. This is a part-time hourly position, with the possibility of moving to full-time status. Primary Responsibilities: Teach gymnastics classes for children ages 1–16, focusing on skill development and progression Create and follow lesson plans aligned with program curriculum for a variety of ages and abilities Engage students with energy and enthusiasm to create a fun, positive learning environment Ensure a safe environment by enforcing rules and properly using equipment Come prepared by arriving on time, knowing students’ names, and understanding their progressions Adapt instruction to meet different skill levels and learning styles Communicate clearly and professionally with students, staff, and parents Set up, maintain, and break down equipment Work collaboratively in a team environment with a positive, professional attitude Take attendance and follow all company policies and procedures Complete USA Gymnastics Safety Certification and SafeSport Certification within the first month of employment The job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive list of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee.
