Turrett/Brake Operator

Job Purpose: - The Turret/Brake Operator at VFP INC is responsible for the efficient setup and operation of CNC turret presses and brake presses. This role requires expertise in computer-aided design (CAD) and involves managing the inventory of raw materials, maintaining tools, and ensuring the cleanliness and basic maintenance of equipment. The operator plays a crucial part in the manufacturing process, ensuring precision and quality in production. Key Responsibilities: - Set up and operate CNC turret presses and brake presses with precision and efficiency. - Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) skills to enhance production processes. - Issue and manage inventory of raw materials to ensure seamless production flow. - Perform tool maintenance to ensure equipment is in optimal working condition. - Conduct basic machine maintenance to prevent downtime and extend equipment lifespan. - Clean and maintain equipment to uphold safety and quality standards.
