Print Estimator

Collaborates and coordinates with Sales, Planners/CSR’s, customers, vendors and staff. Coordinates with planners for efficient cost options and may recommend changes or improvements. Makes recommendations on production process and equipment based on job parameters, volume and cost. The Estimator must regularly analyze customer needs, technical and commercial printing constraints and company resources/capabilities then choose among several alternative courses of action to select the best cost proposal Able to work with abstract designs and create a rough “plan” for job production and will exercise the use of creative problem solving skills Sensitive to the protection of the organization’s value by maintaining confidentiality Work efficiently and effectively to assure completion of estimates to meet customer demand Performing other duties or special projects as required or as assigned by the manager
