About the role

As a Data Engineer at WAES, you will Work on long-term projects with dynamic, fast-growing WAES clients in the Netherlands. Collect and transform data from various sources into accessible, ready-to-use datasets. Manage large-scale data environments that process massive amounts of data. Develop reusable, maintainable, and scalable integration services within (hybrid) cloud infrastructures. Continuously develop yourself to become the best version of yourself. What we’re looking for A Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Science, or a related field, combined with at least 3-5 years of relevant work experience. Strong proficiency in Python and extensive ETL experience. Hands-on experience with cloud projects on Azure, AWS, and/or Google Cloud (GCP). Experience in building robust, high-performance distributed streaming data pipelines. A deep understanding of orchestration principles, API development, and their applications. Knowledge of Neural Networks, Deep Learning, Machine Learning, and AI models, ensuring optimal use of data. Experience working in an Agile/Scrum team. Advanced level of English (spoken and written). Good proficiency in Dutch (spoken and written) is a strong advantage. What You Get at WAES A highly competitive salary (€75,000 - €115,000, depending on experience) with a permanent contract, vacation days, and pension plan.
