STEM Instructor (Part-Time) Department: Youth Programs Location : Lakeland Hills Family YMCA: 100 Fanny Rd, Mountain Lakes, NJ 07046 Reports To: Assistant Camp & Youth Program Director a { text-decoration: none; color: #464feb; } tr th, tr td { border: 1px solid #e6e6e6; } tr th { background-color: #f5f5f5; } Start Date: September 14, 2026 Preferred Hours: Mon - Fri: 4:30PM - 8:30 PM About the Role The YMCA is seeking an enthusiastic STEM Instructor to lead engaging, hands-on STEM enrichment classes for children ages 6–12. In this role, you will teach coding and 3D design courses, foster creativity and problem-solving skills, and create a positive learning environment where students can build confidence and develop a passion for technology. Responsibilities Lead beginner, intermediate, and advanced coding and 3D design classes. Deliver project-based STEM lessons that are fun, engaging, and age-appropriate. Support student learning through classroom management, encouragement, and individualized instruction. Prepare lesson plans, instructional materials, and classroom technology. Track attendance and student progress. Maintain a safe, organized, and inclusive learning environment. Follow YMCA policies, safety procedures, and child protection guidelines Why Work at the Y!
