Activity Assistant Caregiver- Weekends Only

SUMMARY : This position is responsible for direct care in a group home for disabled adults and maintaining the safety, quality and efficiency standards for the individuals living in the home. Also adhering to Empowerment Living Services (ELS) policies and procedures. RESPONSIBILITIES : Main responsibilities include; maintaining and assisting clients with personal cares, daily living, meal preparation, behavioral management, medication administration, housekeeping, transportation, community integration, and other care as needed. Cave givers provide companionship such as conversations and social interaction with clients, maintain proper documentations and reports on clients’ behavioral and medical progress and services performed. Maintaining HIPPA compliance when speaking with clients, office staff, caregivers, and 3rd party individuals. Caregivers will be asked to perform other duties as assigned based on needs of the clients and the company. Must be able to work the assigned shift, including every other weekend and holidays as assigned. Overtime may be required as needed. All openings are located in Winnebago County and Appleton, but at times the successful candidates may be asked to work at other location as needed. This position is very active and requires walking, standing, bending, and kneeling daily. Must be able to frequently lift objects and clients weighting over 50 pounds.
