Are you ready to begin your Authority Life journey? The Savannah Convention Center is currently seeking a part-time Public Safety Officer to join our team. T he Public Safety Officer shall be responsible for the implementation of security policies and procedures of the department under the direction of the Assistant Public Safety Manager and/or Senior Public Safety Manager. Duties include but are not limited to: patrolling the interior and dock areas of the facility, completing written incident reports and departmental documents, and responding to emergency situations. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Complete shift assignments as required in accordance with established guidelines Patrol the interior, exterior and dock areas of the campus. Patrolling may include foot beat, bike patrol, and/or motorized cart Complete written incident reports and departmental documents. Perform crowd management Perform public safety officer duties, crime prevention and safety inspections Respond to emergency situations Provide public safety Respond and investigate concerns, complaints or calls for service Provide safety escorts Serve as a point of information to the public Perform other duties, functions, special projects and responsibilities as assigned by the Assistant Public Safety Manager and/or Senior Public Safety Manager.
