At Brookside Preschool, we believe children thrive when they feel safe, secure, and supported within their environment. To achieve this, our educators are nurturing, responsive, and attuned to each child’s individual needs. We view children as strong, capable, competent, and curious learners who bring with them rich experiences, ideas, and questions that inspire learning. Our curriculum is purposeful, authentic, and flexible. Children learn through a variety of teaching strategies, with our passionate educators intentionally scaffolding learning, modelling skills and behaviours, and co-constructing knowledge through thoughtful questioning and problem-solving. We provide long periods of uninterrupted play, both indoors and outdoors, to support deep, meaningful learning and discovery.
