Company truck and fuel card Position Description The Assistant Project Manager supports the execution of renewable energy civil and infrastructure projects. Working closely with the Project Manager, the APM helps coordinate project schedules, budgets, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure safe, timely, and cost-effective delivery. This role directly supports project staff, goals, and functions while ensuring project documentation and tracking is current and accurate. Responsibilities Assists in developing project schedules, resource plans, and work breakdown structures. Leads daily and weekly progress tracking, ensuring milestones are met. Supports Contract administration to include RFIs, Notifications, Pay Applications, and client meetings. Leads the issuance of Purchase Orders and Subcontracts. Assists in review of invoices, purchase orders, and change orders. Supports cost tracking against project budgets and identifies variances for review. Coordinates subcontractor mobilization, safety compliance, and daily reporting. Maintains communication logs and follow up on outstanding actions and deliverables. Prepare meeting minutes, daily/weekly reports, and project documentation as needed by project. Ensure quality control checklists and safety records are updated. Conducts site walks with the Project Manager and Construction leads when visiting site. Monitor and audits safety compliance and verifies work progress reported.
