Metals Recycling - Non Ferrous Material Handler

Principal Objective of Position: The non-ferrous warehouse worker handles all non-ferrous material with little supervision. They are responsible for inputting data into company’s material receipt system and required to complete physical inventory. Essential Functions: Completes daily safety inspections Receives all non-ferrous material as it comes in Processes and separates all material as it is received Gleans material from the yard Maintains a clean and safe work environment that complies with all local, state, and federal safety regulations Identifies and treats non ferrous material accordingly Assists customers when needed Performs general up keep and provides basic security for the facility Completes monthly inventory routine Communicates with the office and ferrous yard on customer movement Completes physical inventory Inputs data into company’s material receipt system Other Responsibilities: Other duties as assigned.
