The Department of Sociology in the College of Arts and Science and the Gwenna Moss Centre for Teaching and Learning invite applications for a Sessional Lecturer to teach the following off-campus courses during the following session(s): 2026-2027 Regular Session Course Number, Section, and Name: SOC 112.3 (C21) Foundations in Sociology Social Construction of Everyday Life Term and Course Dates: Term 1 (September 1, 2026 to December 31, 2026) CRN: 91891 Delivery Mode: This course will be offered as an In Person Lecture. Course Schedule: Actual course days/times Tuesday 1:00 PM to 3:50 PM. Expected Enrollment Limit: 35 Location: Great Plains College; Swift Current, SK Qualifications: Minimum of a Master’s degree or equivalent in Sociology or related discipline and and/or possession of relevant teaching or professional experience. Course Number, Section, and Name: SOC 112.3 (C60, C64) Foundations in Sociology Social Construction of Everyday Life Term and Course Dates: Term 2 (January 1, 2027 to April 30, 2027) CRN: 23181 et al. Delivery Mode: This course will be offered as a hybrid Lecture (In Person in Yorkton, SK). Course Schedule: Actual course days/times Tuesday 1:00 PM to 3:50 PM. Expected Enrollment Limit: 58 Location: Suncrest College; Yorkton, SK Qualifications: Minimum of a Master’s degree or equivalent in Sociology or related discipline and and/or possession of relevant teaching or professional experience. This is a concurrent appointment. A valid driver’s license is required for any off-campus courses. Appointment periods include additional days in recognition of preparation and marking time required. Courses may be cancelled due to low enrolment.
