Engineering Intern

ABOUT THE ROLE This is a hands-on engineering internship at a Series B EdTech startup, where you'll contribute to a real AI-powered learning platform used by tens of millions of students worldwide. You'll work side-by-side with experienced engineers across both frontend and backend, shipping features that directly impact how students learn. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Build and iterate on real product features across the full stack in a fast-paced startup environment. - Contribute to frontend development using Flutter and Riverpod. - Work on backend services built with Golang and PostgreSQL. - Engage with cloud infrastructure on AWS and Kubernetes. - Collaborate with engineers on integrating and improving LLM-powered features. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR - Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. - Strong programming fundamentals across both backend and frontend development. - Familiarity or willingness to learn the stack: Flutter, Golang, PostgreSQL, AWS, Kubernetes, dbt, and/or BigQuery. - Fluent English; German is a bonus. - Authorized to work in Germany or the United Kingdom — no visa sponsorship is available. - Able to work on-site in Berlin, Germany or London, United Kingdom. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS Salary: €48,000 annually. No visa sponsorship available. LOCATION On-site in Berlin, Germany (or London, United Kingdom). Remote work is not available for this role.
