We are currently seeking highly motivated individuals to fill the Production Scheduler role at our food manufacturing facility located at 18675 Madrone Pkwy, Ste 150, Morgan Hill, CA 95037. Production Planner is responsible for supporting the Planning Manager with material replenishment and production scheduling by verifying counts on the floor and investigation discrepancies. The Production Planner Admin will work with and coordinate multiple resources ensuring requirements are met and engaging additional members and escalate issues of any to appropriate channels as necessary. What will you be doing: Monitors daily production activities, materials flow and transactions to ensure that production schedules are met which involves verification and confirmation of materials. Confirms and releases work orders Ensures job progress to schedules, reporting of status and removal of bottlenecks and related problems. Reviews reports generated from the automated production tracking system. • Confers with department supervisors to determine status of assigned projects at the program level. Reports delays in assembly or the availability of materials to management. Visits the production areas to ascertain production status Confers with department supervisors to determine status of assigned work orders Reports delays in production assembly or the availability of materials to management prior to production Interfaces with other departments to ensure smooth flow of required materials. Notes errors in production flow and scheduling, e.g. incorrect status, and brings these to the attention of the supervisor. Works with department supervisors correct discrepancies and eliminate the fundamental causes of the problems. Initiates corrective actions to expedite the flow of work. Follow and enforce all GMP/PPE and safety guidelines
