Landscape Supervisor

SUMMARY: This position is responsible for supervising and coordinating activities of workers engaged in landscaping or ground maintenance activities. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Directs activities of workers who perform duties such as mowing turf, mulching, weed, trash removal, tree/shrub installation and pruning. Monitors project activities to ensure that instructions are followed, deadlines are met, and schedules are maintained. Manages inventory of tools, equipment, or materials to ensure that sufficient supplies are available. Ensures all equipment is maintained and in usable condition. Trains, motivates, develops, and directs team as they work. Evaluates each team member to provide career development feedback. Monitors/assesses performance of others and/or organization to make improvements or takes corrective action. Transports crew members to different job sites in assigned vehicles. Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
