As HR Manager and Employee Relations Lead, you will be a strategic partner to our arena-specific departments, ensuring our people feel supported, valued, and empowered to excel. In this role, you’ll serve as a trusted advisor on employee relations matters, navigate complex workplace issues with empathy and expertise, and optimize the employee lifecycle from onboarding through offboarding. What You Will Do

Employee Relations

  • Serve as primary HR partner to Fan Experience, Security, Arena Operations, Retail, and Answers Portal teams
  • Conduct thorough, impartial workplace investigations and provide recommendations.
  • Partner with managers to address performance challenges through coaching, feedback, and progressive discipline
  • Design and implement solutions that improve employee experience and organizational outcomes
  • Navigate leave and accommodation requests with discretion and compliance
  • Create feedback channels that foster psychological safety and open communication
  • Monitor general HR email inbox and respond appropriately

Talent Operations & Lifecycle

  • Facilitate and optimize onboarding processes for diverse employee populations, including event staff and IATSE Local 33 members
  • Coordinate new hire documentation (I-9 verification, background checks, communications).
  • Manage offboarding processes including exit coordination and change of status letters
  • Serve as the HR contact for IATSE Local 33 for all matters, including but not limited to onboarding, payroll processing, work eligibility and record keeping
  • Coordinate first day communication and logistics including welcome emails and orientation schedules
  • Manage E-Verify program and ensure compliance with program requirements, including work authorization renewals
  • Leverage HR technology (Greenhouse, ADP, ABI, and HR Acuity) to measure effectiveness and identify trends
  • Partner with leaders to identify staffing needs and develop talent pipelines

HR Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and California-specific employment laws
