About the Position
Dexis is recruiting a Legislative and Public Affairs Analyst to support anticipated programming with the Department of War (DoW). This opportunity will provide program support, policy support, and technical assistance services to support Counterdrug (CD)/Counter-Transnational Organized Crime (CTOC)/Counter-Threat Finance (CTF) mission needs of the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), The Joint Staff, Combatant Commands ( CCMDs) , Military Departments, and Defense Agencies.
This position is contingent upon contract award.
Responsibilities
- Analyze congressional legislation and USG policies and regulatory requirements that may impact or relate to DoW and U.S. interagency partners’ efforts to counter global drug trafficking and other illicit threat network activities that threaten U.S. national security interests.
- Analyze and conduct assessments of DoW legislative proposals for content, technical accuracy, supporting justification, and compliance with policy and guidance that involve or relate to Do W efforts to counter illicit threat network activities.
- Prepare, for USG personnel review, congressional notification packages supporting execution of Do W CD/CTOC/CTF programs.
Qualifications
- Active Top Secret clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) eligibility.
- P ossess a master’s degree from an accredited college/university in a relevant field of study .
- Possess ten (10) years’ experience providing services to senior general/flag officer ranks and/or SES levels within the DoW , other government agencies, or industry corporate equivalents, and will be expected to perform at the level of a mid-range GS-15 equivalent.
