About the role

This position within the Division of Integrated Healthcare (DIH) performs critical support functions to the Division. This position acts as a bridge between DIH leadership and a diverse network of community stakeholders including legislators, state and federal agency staff, community partners, and Medicaid members. This position requires the ability to manage complex, cross-functional projects that demand careful coordination, clear, sensitive communication, and strict adherence to deadlines. The position requires a dynamic strategist who can also manage special projects that may arise from state or federal legislation. This position will reports directly to the Division Director, who is also the State Medicaid Director. Primary duties include: Supports the Division Director as requested Responsible for organizing and coordinating detailed information exchanges, reports, and requests with strict deadlines. This includes legislative reports and requests, coordinating with internal and external agencies, and responding to GRAMA requests. Researches and evaluates federal or state policy updates, coordinates and prepares summaries Coordinates meeting agendas, takes meeting minutes Performs project management support on special projects Designs public facing materials including instructional materials, letters, power points or other outreach related to division initiatives. Manages communications and outreach, legislative reporting and compliance Supplemental Information This position is currently a hybrid of two (2) in-office and three (3) remote work days. Please note, a position's eligibility for remote work is established by agency management and is subject to change at their discretion, at any time, and for any reason. Risks found in the typical office setting, which is adequately lighted, heated and ventilated, e.g., safe use of office equipment, avoiding trips and falls, observing fire regulations, etc. Typically, the employee may sit comfortably to perform the work; however, there may be some walking; standing; bending; carrying light items; driving an automobile, etc. Special physical demands are not required to perform the work.
