Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
Urogynecology Provider
Academic Urology & Urogynecology of Arizona is seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our growing team as a Urogynecology Provider . This role will support our physicians in the evaluation, treatment, and ongoing management of patients with pelvic floor disorders and related urogynecologic conditions in a collaborative outpatient setting.
The ideal candidate will be patient-centered, detail-oriented, and comfortable working closely with physicians and clinical staff to provide high-quality care to women with complex and chronic pelvic health needs. Experience in urogynecology, women’s health, urology, or a related specialty is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and follow patients with urogynecologic conditions such as urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, overactive bladder, recurrent UTIs, pelvic pain, and voiding dysfunction
- Obtain histories, perform focused examinations, and develop treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians.
- Order, interpret, and follow up on diagnostic studies, labs, imaging, and other testing as appropriate.
- Provide patient education regarding diagnosis, treatment options, medications, lifestyle changes, and preventive care.
- Assist with in-office procedures and pre-operative and post-operative care within scope of practice.
- Triages patient calls and supports continuity of care between physician visits.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and support staff to ensure efficient, coordinated, and compassionate care.
Qualifications
- Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
- Master’s degree or completion of an accredited PA program.
- DEA and applicable state prescribing credentials.
- Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced outpatient specialty practice.
Preferred Experience
- Prior urogynecology, urology, or women’s health experience.indeed+2
- Experience caring for patients with pelvic floor disorders and chronic urinary symptoms
- Familiarity with outpatient specialty care, patient counseling, and care coordination.
