Quality Engineer

Aluma-Form Inc. is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Engineer with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving quality improvements, implement effective quality systems, and use data-driven methodologies to enhance product and process performance. As a Quality Engineer, you’ll play a key role in delivering products that meet the highest standards while driving operational excellence and continuous improvement. Responsibilities: Monitor and improve manufacturing processes to ensure product quality and compliance with internal and external standards. Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions to address non-conformities. Develop and maintain documentation such as control plans, inspection instructions, and quality procedures. Document, track, and review Supplier Issues through supplier corrective actions. Support internal and external audits; ensure readiness for customer quality system assessments. Lead or support quality initiatives, including process capability studies, FMEA, and Problem Solving. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Production, Customer Service, Supply Chain) to resolve quality-related issues. Drive Continuous Improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma tools. Train and support production staff on quality procedures and best practices. Work Environment: This position is primarily based in a manufacturing setting, with occasional time spent in office and lab areas. Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds. May require limited travel (<10%) for supplier visits and outlying facilities. Current passport required.
