Commercial Pipe Fitter

Air Technologies, a premier provider of Mechanical/ HVAC Services in the greater Oklahoma City area, has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Commercial Pipe Fitter to join our Oklahoma City, OK service team! PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: • Inspect, examine, and test installed systems and pipelines, using pressure gauges, hydrostatic testing, observation, or other methods. • Lay out full scale drawings of pipe systems, supports, and related equipment, following blueprints. • Well versed in a variety of pipe types: aluminum, PVC, steel, compressed air, vacuum, etc. • Plan pipe system layout, installation, or repair according to specifications. • Measure and mark pipes for cutting and threading. • Assemble and secure pipes, tubes, fittings, and related equipment, according to specifications, by welding, brazing, cementing, soldering, and threading joints. • Cut, thread, and braze pipe to specifications, using tools such as saws, cutting torches, and pipe-threaders and benders. PREFERRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: • High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate). • 5+ years working as a Pipe Fitter in the HVAC Industry. • Valid driver’s license.
