Physical Therapist - Per Diem

Purpose of Your Job Position Plan, organize, develop and direct Physical Therapy services in accordance with current applicable federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations, and as may be directed by the Rehab Program Manager to assure that the highest degree of quality resident care can be maintained at all times. Interpret physical therapy policies and procedures to personnel, resident, family members, etc., as necessary. Participate in discharge planning, development and implementation of resident care plans, resident assessments, etc., as necessary. Review request for physical therapy and Physicians’ orders. Interview resident to determine type of treatment and schedule therapy. Delegation of Authority As a Physical Therapist Assistant with an associates degree from an APTA accredited program, you are delegated the administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability necessary for carrying out your assigned duties.
