As a Host, you set the tone the moment guests walk through the door. You’re not just managing a waitlist, you’re orchestrating the flow of the restaurant like a front-of-house conductor. What You’ll Do Welcome every guest with genuine energy and a warm, confident presence Create a smooth, organized flow from the front door to the dining room Manage waitlists, reservations, and walk-ins with accuracy and efficiency Provide clear and realistic wait times while keeping guests engaged and comfortable Seat guests strategically to balance service across all sections Accommodate special requests whenever possible to elevate the guest experience Present menus and introduce guests to their server upon seating Keep a sharp eye on table readiness, cleanliness, and presentation Communicate effectively with servers, bussers, and managers to keep service running strong Open doors, offer farewells, and leave every guest with a reason to come back
