General Manager

Job Summary: Upscale boutique hotel and restaurant is seeking a Full-Time team-oriented candidate for the General Manager position. Ideal candidate must be courteous and possess excellent leadership and customer service skills. Candidate must also be willing to work weekdays/nights, weekends and/or holidays. Essential Functions: • Oversee and perform all duties of the restaurant • Monitor and maintain store inventory pars alongside the Executive Chef • Maintain a very clean work environment • Monitor day-to-day events of restaurant • Record all deliveries (paper, produce etc.) and any errors • Coach and support new and existing staff members • Oversee the closing of the till and restaurant • Weekly trip to the bank • Oversee reservations and work with Assistant Manager to make sure all reservations are confirmed and prepared for. • Maintain all temperature logs, waste and inventory sheets • Make sure all employees follow company policies and guidelines • Maintain professionalism and set an example for all staff Physical Demands:Physical, Mental and Workplace Environment Conditions • The employee is regularly required to use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear • The employee is frequently required to stand and walk • Specific vision abilities required by this job include: close vision, distance vision, color vision & focus Working Conditions: Workplace Environment Conditions • Restaurant environment • The noise level in this office is usually moderate to high We Offer: • Competitive Salary • Medical Insurance • 401(k) Plan • Flexible schedule • Comprehensive training • Paid Sick and Vacation time • Great Discount Program And more!!!
