Key Responsibilities
The Administrator is responsible for the overall direction of the Home Health services. The Administrator is responsible for the employment of qualified Home Health personnel; is responsible for the provision of home health services, directly, and the delegation to and coordination of hospice personnel evaluations; is responsible for establishing standards of care to comply with federal and state regulations and guidelines. The Administrator establishes, implements, and evaluates goals and objectives for home health services that meet and promote the standards of quality and contribute to the total organization and philosophy.
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Provides expert guidance and assistance in all matters relating to personnel and patient care services.
- Responsible for providing oversight and helping to manage patient and personnel assignments to ensure optimal management of the complex and interdisciplinary care of home health patients
- Responsible for ensuring coordination of care for patients through d evelopment and implementation of policies and procedures, p ersonnel education and in-services, and assisting in care plan development with clinical staff
- Responsible for ensuring coordination of referrals for patients
- Responsible for ensuring the assessment of patient needs and ensuring the plan of care is developed, implemented, and upda ted
- Assists in the development and interpretation of the philosophy and objectives of the agency
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- Current state license as a Registered Nurse
- Minimum 2 years of experience in nursing <li style="color: rgb(8, 78, 142)
