H-1 Aircraft Mechanic (Flight Line CDQAR)

ITnova is seeking an experienced H-1 Aircraft Mechanic (Flight Line - CDQAR) to join our aviation maintenance team supporting mission-critical rotary-wing aircraft operations. In this role, you will perform flight line aircraft maintenance while serving as a Collateral Duty Quality Assurance Representative (CDQAR) , ensuring maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs comply with established quality, safety, and operational standards. Responsibilities include conducting preventive and corrective maintenance, performing quality assurance inspections throughout the maintenance process, monitoring safety and compliance programs, and providing technical guidance to maintenance personnel. The ideal candidate has extensive rotary-wing aircraft maintenance experience, a strong background in quality assurance and flight line operations, and a commitment to maintaining safe, reliable, and mission-ready aircraft in a fast-paced, mission-focused environment .

Responsibilities:

• Serves as a Collateral Duty Quality Assurance Representative (CDQAR) from the primary discipline of flight line MOS 6114/6174 during the contract period.
• Performs preventive maintenance inspections on aircraft and aircraft systems and subsystems.
• Performs troubleshooting, repair, modification, corrosion control, and preservation of aircraft subsystems, including fuel, oil, and hydraulic systems.
• Performs functional checks, inspections, and troubleshooting, as required and trained.
• Monitors compliance and provides guidance in Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) programs, including FOD, confined space, lockout/tagout, and fall protection.
