The Energy Management Field Operator is responsible for the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of natural gas equipment and customer sites. This role focuses on monitoring equipment, performing routine site checks, responding to alarms and changing operating conditions, completing basic operational and maintenance tasks, and supporting consistent service delivery, safety compliance, and customer needs. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Support startup and routine operation of customer sites under established procedures. Operate, inspect, start up, shut down, and monitor natural gas processing, storage, and delivery equipment. Perform routine field checks of pressure, temperature, level, flow, and other operating conditions. Monitor PLC, SCADA, and HMI systems for alarms and basic equipment status. Report abnormal conditions, equipment issues, and safety concerns to supervision in a timely manner. Follow operating procedures, safety policies, lockout/tagout requirements, and permit requirements. Maintain operating logs, reports, inspection records, and daily activity documentation. Perform routine inspections, housekeeping, and basic preventative maintenance tasks. Assist with equipment setup, hose handling, and general site readiness in varying environmental conditions. Provide operational support to internal teams, contractors, and customers. Operate light-duty vehicles in support of field activities, if required. Document daily activities, including time, fuel usage, and site observations. Maintain compliance with company policies and applicable regulatory standards. Respond to alarms, callouts, and changing site conditions as directed. Perform other duties as assigned.
