Driver Class A-CDL

Job Title: Driver – Class A CDL Department: Operations / Warehouse & Logistics Reports To: Warehouse & Logistics Manager Company: Nisbet Brower Position Summary The customer-oriented Driver – Class A CDL to support our warehouse and logistics operations. This position is responsible for transporting building materials to customer locations while ensuring timely deliveries, regulatory compliance, and professional representation of the company. The ideal candidate maintains a strong commitment to safety, demonstrates reliability and professionalism, and takes pride in delivering materials accurately and efficiently in support of our customers and project schedules. Key Responsibilities Safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle to transport building materials to designated customer and company locations. Ensure accurate and timely delivery of materials in accordance with company schedules and assigned routes. Conduct required pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety, roadworthiness, and regulatory compliance. Load and unload materials using appropriate equipment, ensuring proper handling, securement, and storage. Maintain accurate documentation including delivery confirmations, mileage logs, fuel usage, and required DOT records. Communicate effectively with dispatch, warehouse personnel, and customers to coordinate deliveries and resolve issues. Comply with all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company safety policies. Provide professional and courteous customer service during all delivery interactions. Maintain cleanliness and routine care of assigned equipment. Other duties as assigned.
