What You’ll Do As a Restaurant Bartender, you will: Prepare and serve cocktails, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes, portions, and presentation standards. Provide knowledgeable recommendations regarding cocktails, spirits, wine, beer, and food pairings. Welcome bar guests and provide attentive, personalized, and professional service. Accurately take and enter food and beverage orders into the point-of-sale system. Serve food to guests seated at the bar and monitor their dining experience. Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to questions, requests, or concerns. Process cash and credit card payments accurately and in accordance with company procedures. Verify identification and follow all responsible alcohol-service requirements, applicable laws, and company policies. Monitor guest alcohol consumption and notify Management of potential safety or service concerns. Set up, stock, clean, and organize the bar before, during, and after each shift. Maintain appropriate inventory levels of liquor, wine, beer, mixers, garnishes, glassware, and bar supplies. Follow established recipes, portioning requirements, and waste-control procedures. Accurately record spills, waste, breakage, and product transfers as required. Maintain clean and sanitary bar surfaces, equipment, tools, glassware, coolers, and storage areas. Communicate effectively with Servers, Food Runners, Barbacks, Managers, and Culinary team members to support timely service. Prepare service-bar beverages accurately and efficiently for dining-room guests. Complete assigned opening, closing, restocking, cleaning, and side-work responsibilities. Assist teammates and other restaurant areas as business needs require. Follow all food-safety, sanitation, workplace-safety, uniform, and grooming requirements. Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
