Paddock Judge - Seasonal

- Must be knowledgeable on rules and regulations of The Ohio Racing Commission - Verifies horses are in proper paddock stalls according to race number and post position - Ensures proper flow of horses entering and exiting paddock for safety of participants - Makes announcements of pertinent information regarding races - Constant communication with judges on scratches, changes and up to date information on participants in races - Ensures horses are lined up and ready to properly to enter track for post parade according to scheduled post times - Coordinates other officials working in Paddock - Administer the breathalyzer test on live racing days. - Maintain in good condition extra equipment in the paddock for use in an emergency situation. - Must be available to work for any training,...
