Position Purpose/Summary: Maintenance Mechanics maintain and repair factory equipment and other industrial machinery, such as conveying systems, production machinery, and packaging equipment. Maintenance Machine Mechanics install, dismantle, repair, reassemble, and move machinery in manufacturing facility. (enlarge space as needed) Provide troubleshooting, diagnostic evaluation, and repair of equipment. Perform maintenance, service & repairs, and is responsible for performing scheduled preventive maintenance of liquid fillers, pumps, conveyors, and coding equipment. Troubleshoot and Repair Blenders and Filling/Packaging Machines. Attend and participate in all required staff functions including but not limited to Safety Committee Meetings, “5 minute Meetings”, & leadership development meetings Promote safety by abiding by all related policies and procedures and set a good example for others Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Meets service levels consistently; preferable to exceed expectations. Communicates timely and to the appropriate personnel with regards to any information about meeting work assignments as directed or as inferred to be successful. Uses materials, tools, and resources safely, appropriately and with value considerations, and conducts work activities in a safe manner with forethought to best actions rooted in safety for oneself and others.
