New Store Opening Retail Pharmacy Technician

Who You Are:

As a Pharmacy Technician at Curaleaf , you’ll play a vital role in ensuring patients receive safe, accurate, and timely access to medical cannabis products. You’ll collaborate with pharmacists and the retail team to process prescriptions, manage inventory, and provide exceptional customer service. This position combines technical precision with a patient-first mindset in a highly regulated environment.

What You'll Do:

  • Customer Experience & People
  • Assist patients with questions, provide dosage guidance, and deliver outstanding service.
  • Educate patients on safe and responsible cannabis use.
  • Maintain confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA guidelines.
  • Operational Excellence & Processes
  • Prepare and dispense cannabis products in accordance with state regulations.
  • Collaborate with pharmacists to ensure accurate prescription fulfillment.
  • Stay current on cannabis laws, regulations, and industry trends.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work environment.
  • Sales & Performance

• Foster a positive, respectful workplace culture.

• Support inventory management and documentation processes.

• Perform other related duties as needed.

What You'll Bring:

  • Active Pharmacy Technician registration in the state (or held within the past 5 years in good standing).
  • Minimum 6 months of experience as a pharmacy technician
  • Knowledge of medication dosage, pharmacy law, and medical terminology
  • Strong communication skills and customer service focus
  • High attention to detail and reliability
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office

Even Better If You Have:

  • Experience working in the cannabis industry
  • Experience in a regulated retail setting
  • Experience in using a POS.
  • Background in sales with KPI tracking and meeting targets
  • Familiarity with e-commerce systems and order fulfillment

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand for extended periods of time, walk, talk or hear, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, use hands and fingers to feel, reach with hands and arms, and lift up to 25 pounds. The employee is occasionally required to climb, balance, and lift up to 50 pounds. This position requires close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less).
