Laborer The successful candidate should be self-motivated, have a great work ethic, and be able to work well with little supervision, in various environments or inclement weather. This position will have the opportunity to be promoted to a Water Meter Installer . As a Laborer, you will be expected to perform the following: Responsibilities include: Follow project instructions from Field Service Manager or Site Supervisor Cut various parts for product assembly. Frequently stand, walk, use hands to feel and handle supplies and equipment; use hands and arms to reach, lift, etc. Complete all assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner. Work independently and in a team environment. Maintain and follow required attire and grooming standards. Follow UMS standards of safety, productivity, and quality of work. In this position, you can expect to receive continuous feedback from your supervisor, in an effort, to help you improve your performance and possibly move up to another field service position. UMS will provide step-by-step training to be successful.
