Summary This role manages assigned warehouse department during assigned shifts (Inbound M-F 7am-4:30pm; Outbound Sun-Thur 9am-5:30pm, Outbound Mon-Fri 10am-6pm, Outbound Mon-Fri 3:30pm-12am, additional days/hours as needed based on business need), including scheduling, staffing, workload balancing, and ensuring performance and quality standards are met. Responsibilities include coaching, timekeeping, enforcing company policies, effective communication, using reports/tools, and resolving conflicts and operational issues. Responsibilities Oversee all inbound or outbound logistics including receiving, unloading, and inventory processing, order fulfillment to ensure smooth and timely flow of goods into or out of the facility. Manage and lead team, assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and ensuring adherence to productivity and safety standards. Ensure inventory accuracy through proper documentation, cycle counts, and adherence to standard operating procedures during the receiving process. Collaborate with warehouse and inventory control teams to reduce discrepancies, optimize space utilization, and streamline the flow of inbound materials. Monitor KPIs and generate reports on inbound or outbound volumes, efficiency, error rates, and other metrics to drive continuous improvement. Implement and enforce compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards within the inbound department. Train, mentor, and develop staff, fostering a productive work environment and encouraging continuous learning and improvement. Troubleshoot and resolve department issues, including delivery delays, damage claims, and inventory variances. Support cross-functional initiatives, working with procurement, planning, and outbound operations to ensure seamless supply chain operations.
