About the position: At Camp Haynes, we provide a rich, STEAM-based experience designed to inspire curiosity, creativity, and confidence in students from PreK 3 through 8th grade. Our program blends hands-on learning, creative exploration, and exciting weekly field trips (both on-site and off-site) to create an engaging and memorable experience for every camper. Camp Haynes will run June 22 – July 17th , operating daily from 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM . You will: Develop a positive, supportive, productive classroom environment and implement engaging daily activities for all students; Lead the internalization and implementation of lesson plans aligned with our summer learning offerings and social emotional development; Prepare learning materials that support STEAM aligned programming and enrichment; Establish efficient classroom routines and procedures to ensure a safe learning environment; Collaborate consistently with colleagues, school administration, and families; share updates with families and staff about student engagement and performance; Proactively adhere to policies and procedures, making the safety and care of students the primary focus; Demonstrate exceptional organizational, multi-tasking, problem solving and decision making skills; meet assigned deadlines; Demonstrate strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service; maintain open, professional, and constructive communication with students, colleagues, and families; Participate in regular professional learning opportunities to develop and expand skill; Communicate and partner with families, sharing regular updates on student learning during extended day programming; Complete all necessary Childcare compliance requirements and trainings; and Perform other duties as assigned.
