Are you a compassionate clinician seeking flexible PRN shifts to support individuals in crisis? Join Aurora Mental Health & Recovery (AMHR) in our Walk-In Clinic (WIC) and 24/7 Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU), where you’ll make a meaningful impact through trauma-informed care, assessments, therapy, and crisis intervention. We’re seeking Master’s level Unlicensed Therapists (MA, LSW, LPCC, MFT), Licensed Therapists (LCSW, LPC, LMFT), and Psychologists (Unlicensed or Licensed) to provide critical mental health services within a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. The CSU and the WIC are open every day of the year, and the PRN Therapists work fully Onsite/In-person. Our PRN staff are typically required to work at least two shifts per month. Available Shifts Monday - Sunday are: Day Shift 6:30 am - 5:00 pm Swing Shift 12:30 pm to 11:00 pm Overnight Shift 8:30 pm - 7:00 am Salary for this role. Wage is based on years of licensure or experience and company equity. PRN employees are eligible for a 10% PRN differential paid in addition to base wages. Shift differentials are available for certain shifts. Unlicensed Therapist: $28.12 - $38.47 per hour. Licensed Therapist: $31.98 - $43.76 per hour. Unlicensed Psychologist: $33.66 - $40.13 per hour. Licensed Psychologist: $47.83 - $57.03 per hour. Shift Differential Pay. The Day weekend shift differential is paid from 7 am to 3 pm on Saturdays and Sundays only; the Swing shift differential is paid from 3 pm to 11 pm; and the Overnight shift differential is paid from 11 pm - 7 am Day Weekend (Sat, Sun): $2.50 Overnight Weekday (Monday - Thursday): $4.25/hour Overnight Weekend (Friday, Saturday & Sunday): $6.25/hour Swing Weekday (Mon-Thurs): $2.75/hour Swing Weekend (Fri, Sat, Sun): $4.25/hour Availability. This PRN role requires availability to complete initial in‑person orientation and training during the scheduled onboarding week (Tuesday - Thursday), followed by up to eight (8) paid training shifts within the first two months, scheduled based on operational needs. To remain active in PRN status, employees are expected to work at least two shifts per month, with each shift lasting a minimum of five (5) hours, unless otherwise approved. Essential Functions: Conduct diagnostic assessments, individual, family and/or group therapy with assigned clients. Develop and monitor treatment plans; update at required intervals. Consult with internal and external professionals and collaterals to ensure access to needed services and proactive coordination of care. Provide clinical case-management services as needed. Provide crisis intervention as appropriate. Provide comprehensive clinical services designed to decrease symptoms and improve quality of life. Assist clients to evaluate strengths and symptoms, and set their own goals. Guide and instruct clients in coping skills. Offer consultation to community partners and providers. Ensure that billing information is up-to-date for assigned clients. Seek insurance authorization for services as required. Write reports and other correspondence, as necessary, and with appropriate releases. Complete all requests to provide the necessary information and undertake the required activities to ensure timely and ongoing credentialing with third party payers. Staff member will monitor and coordinate care for assigned clients in partnership with the other members of the clients care team.
