Mechanic - Jefferson City

Capital Equipment is looking to fill a equipment mechanic position at our Welding and Fabrication Shop in Jefferson City, Missouri. RESPONSIBILITIES: Maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on a variety of heavy/dirt equipment Perform corrective and preventative maintenance on heavy equipment Perform safety checks on equipment/ heavy equipment. Assist senior mechanics Change brakes and tires Trouble shoot and repair engine and transmission issues Estimate time and material costs on equipment repairs and request new parts Maintain a clean and safe workstation in compliance with company and OSHA standards Welding/FAB Other duties as assigned
