Job Summary

The Senior Commercial Electrical Estimator is responsible for leading the estimating process for commercial electrical construction projects and developing accurate, competitive, and comprehensive proposal packages for client turnover. This role will estimate projects up to $100MM , depending on project complexity, scope, and self-perform requirements.

The Senior Commercial Electrical Estimator will work closely with the Chief Estimator, Preconstruction, Project Management, Operations, vendors, subcontractors, and customers to develop competitive estimates, identify project risks, and ensure successful project turnover.

Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Lead estimates for commercial electrical construction projects with sizes and scopes up to $100MM, depending on complexity.
  • Develop detailed electrical estimates, including material, labor, equipment, subcontractor, and indirect costs.
  • Perform and validate detailed electrical quantity takeoffs using estimating software.
  • Review and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, scopes of work, contract documents, and project requirements.
