Supply Chain Coordinator

HealthActiv is currently looking for a Supply Chain Coordinator to oversee the end-to-end flow of goods, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness and reliability across the supply chain while supporting the organisation's operational objectives. Key Responsibilities •Procurement: Purchase products from preferred suppliers and ensure timely delivery of goods. •Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, analyse demand forecasts and maintain effective inventory control processes to optimise stock availability. •Logistics Coordination: Schedule shipments and coordinate the transportation of goods. •Cost Management: Monitor and control costs throughout the supply chain process, including transportation and procurement. •Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyse supply chain data to generate reports and make informed decisions about supply chain strategy. •Compliance: Ensure adherence to relevant regulations and standards, such as import/export regulations and industry-specific standards. •Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments within the organisation to ensure alignment of supply chain activities with overall business objectives. Job Requirements •Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Transportation, Supply Chain Management or Business Administration. •Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Logistics or Supply Chain Management, within the medical or pharmaceutical sector would be a distinct advantage. •Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. •Strong sense of ethics and team spirit. •Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools. •Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. •Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
