Escrow & Cash Processing Specialist I (22672)

Summary/Objective The Escrow & Cash Processing Specialist 1 is responsible for performing day-to-day duties within the servicing department. Provide professional service to our members, partners, and co-workers. Proactively uphold MMS’s Mission Statement. May assist in the areas indicated listed below. Essential Functions May Include Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Process member payments and post to the appropriate accounts. Research and provide responses to payment questions or issues. Assumes responsibility for paying of escrow: private mortgage insurance (PMI), county property taxes, hazard insurance, and flood insurance. Assist members with the PMI cancellation process Verifying borrower-paid taxes and insurance. Impounding for escrow and force placing insurance where needed. Process mortgage releases. Assist as needed with annual escrow analysis. Responsible for providing excellent customer service via the phone, email, and web messaging. Processes verifications and payoffs as requested. Perform other special projects and assignments as required or assigned. Competencies Maintains basic working knowledge of MMS’s products and services. Maintain a professional, friendly and helpful relationship with all staff and members. Performs all essential job functions and responsibilities in a timely and professional manner. Observes all MMS guidelines and policies. Performs all other projects and duties as assigned.
