Bookkeeper - Accounting - NJ

Full Charge Bookkeeper Job Summary: Genesis Global Group (GGG) is a consortium of entities and institutes in the fields of molecular biology, medicinal chemistry, and biotechnology. We are looking for a full charge bookkeeper to join our rapid growing team. Our ideal candidate will have a strong accounting background, must be organize and multi-tasking, have ability to reconcile account, prepare and maintain Excel spreadsheets. Essential Functions: ▪ Process accounts receivable and payable for all departments ▪ Input invoices and process payments ▪ Record day to day financial transaction and complete posting process ▪ Reconcile monthly expense reports ▪ Reconcile bank statements for all departments and companies ▪ Monthly Owner distribution reconciliation ▪ Maintain various Excel files ▪ Assist with preparing financial statements and report on variances ▪ Other projects as assigned Job Qualifications: ▪ Strong Microsoft Office skills required. ▪ Knowledge of Sage 100 & 1099s Filing is a plus. ▪ Excellent verbal and written communication skills. ▪ Self-motivated with multi-tasking skills. ▪ Strong team player ▪ Strong interpersonal skills.
