About the role

Purpose of the Job : The primary purpose of the Warehousing Specialist position is to serve as the first-level contact between Apollo Tyres and Warehouse 3PLs, as well as internal and external suppliers, with a primary focus on the Finished Goods Warehouse at the Gyöngyöshalász Plant. The role involves closely monitoring warehouse processes, KPI’s with 3PL, expenditures, failures, stock quality and cost avoidance. The specialist is responsible for identifying weaknesses, failure modes, and improvement opportunities, and for coordinating corrective actions to ensure customer satisfaction, cost efficiency, smooth operations in warehousing, loading and dispatch. Additionally, the role includes leading or participating in Logistics Europe projects related to these areas. Major Responsibilities : 1. Warehouse Management Operations Ensure expected performance of the RDC Coordinate daily operation with 3PLs to and improve processes. Coordinate the maintenance of Apollo assets between warehouse and Gyöngyöshalász plant manufacturing Build and maintain comprehensive reporting and performance monitoring solutions Maintain accurate master data necessary for warehouse and dispatch operations. Manage IT issues related to warehouse systems and support user acceptance testing. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized warehouse environment; lead safety and housekeeping initiatives (e.g., 5S). Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and compliance with safety rules and company policies. Facilitate clear communication within warehouse teams and follow supervisor instructions. Lead and support Logistics projects. 2. Collaboration, Compliance, and Safety Close cooperation with internal teams (e.g. Supply Chain, Sales, Customer Service) and external partners (e.g. transport providers, warehouses) to support smooth daily operations. Adherence to all documented procedures, work instructions, and training guidelines; execution of tasks only when listed and approved in the skill matrix. Strict compliance with ethical conduct rules; immediate escalation of any attempt of improper influence or behaviour from internal or external parties. Maintenance of a clean, safe, and organized work environment; correct use and care of tools, equipment, and personal protective equipment (PPE). Acceptance and execution of instructions only from officially assigned supervisors or designated coordinators, in line with organizational guidelines. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or similar education in the area of Supply Chain/Logistics/Business Administration Professional written and verbal communication in both Hungarian and English Must Have At least 2 years of experience in warehousing Strong leadership attitude and ability to take initiative Experience with Daily Work Method Strong Office abilities, including Excel, Word, Outlook and Teams Comfortable using email, phone, SMS, and Teams for daily communication High attention to detail and accuracy Able to work independently and solve problems Good team player with strong cooperation skills Nice to Have Basic knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF, or VDA 6.3 standards Familiarity with automotive industry processes Basic understanding of warehousing and transportation practices Why join us?
