The origin story JOB DESCRIPTION We’re looking for a Lead - Product Design — a visionary design leader who combines creative brilliance with strategic clarity and execution muscle. Someone who thrives in ambiguity, scales design systems, and builds world-class experiences that define Spyne’s global visual and product identity. If you’re a self-starter, mentor, and design evangelist who’s built from zero to one and then scaled to ten, this role is for you. 📍 Location: Gurugram (Work from Office – 5 days a week) Lead Spyne’s entire design function — from product and UX to brand and storytelling. Build and mentor a team of high-performing designers who create meaningful impact across global products. Partner directly with founders, product, and AI teams to craft delightful, intuitive, and scalable user experiences . Define what world-class automotive design looks like — and make Spyne synonymous with it. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Own and drive the design vision across product, brand, and user experience — ensuring consistency and excellence at every touchpoint. Lead and mentor a team of product, visual, and UX designers, creating an environment that inspires creativity and accountability. Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and AI teams to deliver experiences that merge intelligence with usability. Establish a strong design culture rooted in empathy, experimentation, and craftsmanship. Build and scale a design system that accelerates velocity while maintaining a high bar of quality. Champion user-centric thinking , using research, feedback, and data to guide design decisions. Represent Spyne’s design vision externally — across partners, clients, and the design community. JOB REQUIREMENTS 7–10 years of experience in Product/UX Design, with at least 2–3 years leading design teams. Experience working in high-growth startups or SaaS/AI-first companies . A builder mindset — you thrive in a fast-moving, high-growth startup and know how to scale creative teams and systems. A strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end product design , brand identity, and user-centered innovation. Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Suite, and modern prototyping tools . A strategic thinker who can balance creative exploration with business goals. Experience working with AI-driven or data-informed design workflows (preferred).
