About the role
Summary/Objective The Bingo Floor Clerk is an entry-level, guest-facing position responsible for assisting guests with bingo purchases, verifying winning cards, issuing change, and providing courteous service during live bingo sessions. Floor Clerks are a key part of the on-the-floor team, helping ensure efficient operations and enhancing the overall guest experience. This role requires strong communication skills, attentiveness, and the ability to perform basic cash-handling duties in a fast-paced environment. Key Accountabilities­ Sell bingo games, specials, and related items. Verify serial and control numbers, process cash sales, and issue or make change Accurately itemize and total guest purchases Balance cash drawer or apron. Count and verify cash at the beginning and end of each shift Ensure all sales match recorded totals and complete required paperwork Assist with fund deposits and withdrawals. Prepare basic deposit and withdrawal forms Maintain secure handling of all currency throughout the shift Provide accurate and friendly guest service. Answer player questions regarding game rules, schedules, and pricing Assist guests with floor needs and direct them to appropriate team members as needed Support floor operations during bingo sessions. Verify winning cards quickly and accurately Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bingo area during sessions Promote a positive, team-oriented environment. Assist coworkers and respond promptly to supervisor requests Take initiative to complete assigned tasks and support department efficiency Physical & Mental Requirements / Work Environment Bingo team members work in a fast-paced, guest-facing environment that requires extended periods of standing and walking. Team members must be able to speak clearly and confidently, including over a microphone when required, and remain focused while handling multiple tasks during live bingo sessions. The role involves frequent guest interaction, crowd engagement, and periods of high energy and noise. Employees may be required to lift or move items up to 25 pounds, such as bingo supplies or promotional materials. The environment includes bright lights, loud sounds, and occasional exposure to secondhand smoke in casino-adjacent areas. Attention to detail, strong situational awareness, and a positive, guest-oriented demeanor are essential to success in any bingo role. The ideal candidate should be able to fulfill all physical and mental aspects of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.
