JOB DESCRIPTION Position Title: Custodian Department: Retail Salary Range: $15.15 Reports to: Retail Manager Employment Status: Seasonal FLSA Status: Non-Exempt POSITION SUMMARY) The primary responsibility is to ensure that all public areas of the marina are clean , organized, and well-maintained. The incumbent will be responsible for a range of custodial tasks to create a clean and safe environment for customers and staff. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & DUTIE Greet customers entering the store and provide excellent customer service; Responsible for regularly cleaning and sanitizing all areas of the store, gift shop, fuel dock, restrooms, administration offices; Responsible for emptying trash bins, dispose of waste properly, and ensure that the Marina's waste management procedures are followed; Assist with restocking merchandise on shelves and ensuring that inventory is organized and properly stored; Provide friendly and helpful customer service to all guests and staff Assist with the setup of facilities for meetings, conferences, events, etc; Clean walls and equipment; use ladders when required in work assignments; Secure entrances and exits of buildings when facilities are not in use; Follow all safety and environmental instructions regarding the use of chemicals and supplies. Use as directed; Safely operate all vehicles and other job related equipment; Report any malfunctioning equipment or needed repairs to facility maintenance; Possess the ability to react productively to other duties as reasonably assigned.
