Assembler Apprentice

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES, DUTIES & CORE FUNCTIONS: • Mechanical and electrical component assembly. • Mechanical and electrical functional testing. • Packing and crating products. • Training with peers & interface with multiple internal departments. EXPERIENCE: • Basic use of hand tools and power tools. • Ability to follow detailed instructions. • Ability to read and understand prints. • Ability to read measurement tools (tape measure, scale, etc.). EDUCATION: • High School Diploma or GED Required. ADDITIONAL SKILLS and QUALIFICATIONS: • Basic computer knowledge. • Verbal and Listening Skills required. • Ability to clearly communicate in both oral and written form. • Ability to understand the speech of another person. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORK ENVIRONMENT: • Light physical effort equal to frequent lifting or moving of lightweight materials. • Regularly required to sit or stand, bend and reach. • Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. • Regularly preform repetitive motions. • The noise level in the work environment is usually medium. • Exposed to any number of elements but with none present to the extent of being disagreeable.
