Dacotah Dining Host/Cashier

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Greet and welcome guests in a warm, genuine manner. Seat guests in an organized pattern to ensure smooth flow of service. Maintain current knowledge of service procedures, menus, Micros operations and seating chart. Complete tasks for guests as requested to ensure their satisfaction. Take all to go orders via phone or in person. Collect payment from guests by utilizing Micros system. Perform light bookkeeping duties and cash stand housekeeping as required. Ensure upkeep of all menus and dining room supplies. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of lobby and dining areas. Perform daily side work as required. Engage in light food preparation as needed. Utilize suggestive sales techniques as appropriate. Thank guests upon their departure, and invite them to return. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
