ACDS, Inc. is looking for Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to assist our residents with special needs in the daily functions of their life. Our residents are all ambulatory and exhibit minimal behaviors. They look for supervision, verbal prompting, and modeling to perform their activities of daily living. Our group homes have a cozy feel with many of our residents knowing their housemates for most of their lives. None of our group homes use restrictive SCIP techniques. All of our group homes are located in Nassau County. Retirees Welcome! We have opportunities for entry-level & experienced Direct Support Professionals (DSPs). We welcome interested individuals to apply who are looking for part-time or full-time work. Available shifts: 16, 24, 32 or 40 hours per week $250 SIGN-ON BONUS FOR ALL NEW HIRES (minimum 16 hours per week), WHO COMPLETE THE 90 DAY INTRODUCTORY PERIOD IN GOOD STANDING . Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) duties : Provide assistance to our residents promoting the highest level of health, safety, and independence. Teach and support individuals in all activities of daily living including personal hygiene, cooking, house cleaning, laundry, shopping, budgeting, community integration, etc. Assist in the implementation of individual goals and protocols for our residents. Transport residents as needed.
