About the role
ABOUT US: Syufy Enterprises is a fast-growing, financially strong Marin-based entertainment and leisure company that owns a variety of businesses, including high-end athletic clubs and spas, restaurants, golf venues, shopping centers, public markets and drive-in theaters. Over the next several years, the company will be rapidly expanding all its brands and looking to invest in new brands. POSITION SUMMARY: As part of the marketing team, the Graphic Designer is responsible for the design of all marketing materials including print and online advertisements, newsletters, signs, brochures, direct mail, banners and menus for the multiple Syufy Enterprises businesses. While the majority of time will be spent on creative graphic design, the candidate must also have design thinking skills and a customer centric mindset. Knowledge of and creative talent with graphics software is necessary. The appropriate candidate must be highly creative and have a portfolio of work. This position reports to the Vice President of Marketing. The role requires the ability to quickly come up to speed on West Wind Drive-In, Villa Sport Athletic Club, Peacock Gap Golf Club and other Syufy Enterprises businesses, and anticipate and design for their marketing collateral needs. RESPONSIBILITIES: Graphic Design Function as in-house print and web/digital designer. Work with the Vice President and marketing team on all projects. Collaborate with program directors and agencies to help create, maintain and monitor branded marketing collateral and promote brand consistency. Manage traffic flow and production with printers and converters. Assist with various web and interactive projects to help the businesses grow their online presence. Collaborate in managing our photo and image library. Collaboration & Communication Partner with marketing, operations, and club teams to create consistent graphic design strategies with business objectives. Build and maintain relationships with national directors to anticipate and fulfill their content needs. Support localized content strategies tailored to individual club markets. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts or Graphics Arts/Design. Excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator) plus working knowledge of website content management systems and motion graphics (Premier/After Effects) a plus. Leverage AI-powered creative tools (Adobe Firefly, Photoshop Generative AI, and emerging technologies) to accelerate concept development, produce production-ready assets, generate creative variations, and improve overall design efficiency while maintaining brand standards. Strong conceptual skills, a meticulous eye for detail, and the ability to take a project from inception to completion. Proficient in production work. Interactive design and programming experience a plus. Ability to work with the marketing team in a collaborative, teamwork environment. Ability to take creative directions and go through iterative rounds of revisions to deliver the best work. Strong project management skills with ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects to meet tight deadlines. Portfolio and samples required for application. Please submit link if possible.
