Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for the physical security at the Tashkent data center, from construction through operational handover. This covers physical security systems (access control, CCTV, intrusion detection), the on-site guard force and security vendors, and compliance with organizational standards and applicable Uzbek regulations. You will work with engineering, construction, and operations teams on site, and with regional and corporate security leadership, to build out the site’s security posture and manage risk during commissioning and live operations. The role also requires an established network with local law enforcement and government security agencies, given the site-specific nature of the position.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, Business Administration or a related field or relevant professional experience
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in physical security, risk management, or regulatory compliance operations, including site-level or regional leadership.
  • 5+ years of progressive responsibility in physical security, investigations, or risk management within critical infrastructure or data center environments, ideally including a greenfield or construction-phase assignment.
  • Proven track record managing security vendor and guard-force contracts at a single site or campus.
  • Familiarity with workflow ticketing systems, data analytics, and performance metrics extraction; experience with advanced security hardware/software solutions.
  • Familiarity with security frameworks and standards (ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, SOC2, TSI/EN50600) and relevant regulatory requirements.
  • PSP (Physical Security Professional), CPP (Certified Protection Professional), CISSP, CISM or similar industry certifications.
  • Experience with forensic and evidence handling
  • Experience with Business Continuity Management ISO 22301
