Parts Counter Sales

Position Information: The Parts Counter Sales Person’s main responsibility is to service customers. Requires parts knowledge and the use of parts catalogs. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Represent all Midway Companies professionally to customers, vendors and other outsiders. Work harmoniously with co-workers and supervisor and adhere to company policies. Sell parts over the counter to retail and wholesale customers. Determine correct parts numbers Help maintain parts stock in an orderly fashion Promote additional parts sales by suggesting related items, seasonal items and/or parts specialties. Clean, revise, and update parts displays as directed. Must be able to work safely in a parts department environment, using care not to create hazards for fellow workers or yourself. Advise Assistant Parts Manager when areas of the department are not in satisfactory condition. Keep current on new products and product updates. Participate in all training programs that are made available. Ensure notification of customers of special orders received and make service appointments when possible. Assist in the preparation of scheduled physical inventories. Perform such other tasks as assigned.
